This small rowboat is one of about 30 of them available for rent to cruise around the lake in Lost Lake Oregon. There are no motorized vehicles of any kind allowed on the lake, so these are very popular. The morning fog was just rising from the water. You can almost smell the fresh air. I am new to the Northwest but I am getting to learn more and more.

My first visit to Lost Lake Oregon was this past summer. Being a Colorado native I am new to the Northwest, so I intend on getting as exposed to this region as I can. Mount Hood is a majestic mountain, when I compare it to the Colorado mountains the only real difference is in Colorado there would be a continuous range left and right of a massive peak. Because this mount stands alone in the landscape it makes it even more impressive. This was a beautiful warm sunrise.
Acrylic on Canvas 9" X 12" Framed. SOLD
